Emily graduated in 2005 from Early Childhood Education at Fanshaw College James N Allen Campus here in Simcoe. She later returned to obtain a Healthcare Office Administration certificate in 2011

Local organizations are important to Emily. She has volunteered as a Norfolk 4-H member and leader and been a part of the Haldimand Norfolk Junior Farmers, and Norfolk County Fair- Kids World committee.

Emily currently resides in Waterford with her children. As a family they enjoy spending time with each other, taking road trips, going for bike rides and yoga.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys hunting with her dad, cooking, and baking.
